when you're having a bad day at work (or anywhere, really), and you look out the window just to remind yourself... they can't take the sky from me.

I do that every day. It helps.

... you get a brand new phone (yay me!!) and the first thing you do is to try to work out how to put the Firefly theme tune on as your ringtone.

Any ideas people?? I'm still working on it. It's a Motorola V3. Help?

...You name your new (second/third/fourth-hand of course)car, 'Serenity,' because there's a panel over the wheel well that's trying to come off, and point out to your friends that it's the 'primary buffer panel.'

...you notice out the window at work, that it's snowing (yet again), and chirp happily, "Shiny!"

...You find other Browncoats at a party by singing the 'fruity oaty bar' jingle, and then try to convert the rest of the folks who just looked at you funny...but didn't run away.

You know you're a browncoat when....

you plan on writing fanfics where you are the tenth crewmember. (or eighth, post-BDM)

You wear your beat-up, scarred leather browncoat to special occasions over your $400 black.

I think a little chaos is in order. What do you think, Robitaille?

I would prefer carnage, maybe a massacre.

EPIC, the upcoming E-novel by Bradley X. Shepherd

... if you go to a Convention (StellarCon), throw a Wake for Wash and Book, spend $200 and 6 hours decorating and preparing food and drink, serve "good dogs", misc. meat, and chinese party mix (among many other things), plus have 3 punches called "Shiney"(it dissolved the edible glitter we put in it), "The Black" (we used black cake coloring), and "Mudders Milk" (the favorite - had a lot of people how to make it.

Oh - and someone actually had Juggling Goslings at the wake.

I just said this to my husband, honest! Without forethought or planning, "My God, you're like a trained ape . . . . without the training!"

Well, he was spilling steak drippings all over the kitchen floor (oops, sorry, horse meat drippings, um, never mind!)

Guess that makes it official, though.

Sorry, dear!
