Hey!

I'm from Cambridge.

There's quite a few of us UK Browncoats who post regularly on this board....

Humbug

"You know what the first rule of flying is?... Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home." Mal, BDM

"Like Mark said, we do exist, we're just quiet about stuff - even if that stuff is really good"

Friggin' "quiet"? Have you MET anybody from the UK in the last 20 years or so?

Yes. I've lived here for the last 21 years and 3 months - since I was born basically.

Anyhow, we are generally more quiet and reserved about stuff than our continental neighbours. Though, considering that the French are our nearest and dearest, that's probably not saying much.

Ah, there's nothing quite like the sound of a hundred concealed US guns cocking all at once.
