Just bought a Serenity t-shirt at Hot Topic, and thought it was worth mentioning, in case anyone wanted one but wasn't about to order it online. It's just the Serenity logo, on black.

The fact that it's being released now, and not when the movie was in theaters, or even when it was first on DVD, is significant.

yeah there another topic here about the shirts and the stock # for hot topic. I believe there were 3 in total.. I got the exact same shirt last week and im wearing now. I got the XXL its long but not that big.. nice quality though

Yup, got my Serenity Logo Tee last week at a local H-T store (Highland Mall, Austin TX). They were out of the XXL, but I can fit into an XL if it's for the right cause. :)

They weren't carrying any of the other Serenity tees at that particular store (there's also a Browncoats shirt in brown - go figure - and a "My Turn" black shirt featuring our own badass, River Tam), but I'll keep checking back in hopes that they will bring out more Serenity tees.

The girl at my Hot Topic said she didn't know anything about any other shirts--I guess now I know to look for them.

There's another one that says *BROWNCOAT* on the front and "I aim to misbehave." on the back. I know this cause... um... I'm wearing it right now. I've seen several of the fandom inspired tee shirts, that's cool. But this one is liscensed, meaning that money goes to Universal.

My thought is, the more money we can get to them the better the odds at getting a BDM2. This won't stop me from ordering and wearing a fandom shirt with pride, but given the choice... I'll take a second movie.

If it is like the store in my area, the Serenity Logo shirt shows up first and then if they sell well enough, the others show up.

Hot Topic employees can look up these numbers on their computers and see if any of thier Region stores have these shirts. They can transfer the shirts to your store.

Serenity My Turn 250169-004 XL
Serenity Logo 272754-004 XL
Serenity Browncoat 211458-004 XL

I think the -004 means XL. So maybe -001 means Small etc.

We are hoping if they sell well enough, they will make other versions too. Maybe even Serenity perfume...or Zoe perfume...Kaylee...River...Anara perfume...Keychains...stickers...buttons. Like Hot Topic mall stores have for the Princess Bride Special edition.

Just checked on the two Hot Topic stores that had never heard of Serenity in December. And one of them now has the Serenity Logo shirts. So now I have two Hot Topic stores that are selling Serenity shirts.

So be sure to check your Hot Topic stores every once in awhile.

Yep, only ones left on-line are Browncoat shirts. But they might come back...The River Shirt came back just recently and sold out and then the Logo and Browncoat shirts came back and the Logo ones sold out.

I was really suprised when they came back on-line since I figures Hot Topic's on-line system was a test.

Now I think the On-line system is a test and some stores are tests and Serenity is passing!!!

I think the Serenity Logo shirts are now going out to stores that haven't had them before...which might mean the Browncoat and Logo shirts are going to come to those stores IF THEY SELL WELL ENOUGH.
