Official Firefly Website Shutdown

As of today, the Official Firefly Website hosted by FOX is no more. The URL of the defunct website now redirects visitors to the FOX TV DVD site, where the Firefly DVDs will eventually be promoted.

*SIGH* I'm just so glad that we are still flying to the big screen or this would have been a huge down, followed by lots of kicks.

So I wasn't a very faithful Firefly fan (Forgive me Father....). When I heard the official site was going away, I managed to download the site but only about half the video clips. Is there a mirror or an archive of that stuff available?

As Mitch (an original OBer) reminded me..
an Official site is only Official if ME, Universal, or Fox says it is.. (everything else is still just a fansite no matter how nice it is).
The OB browncoats (for now) seem to have dispersed into 5 different Cliques..

It's my opinion to many browncoats tied themselves to the "official site" anyways..
Maybe with the "Crutch" pulled out, more will learn to walk.. :)
