Since there was some talk of site redesign, what is the general opinion on maybe increasing the number of top threads? Maybe just to 12 or 15, or maybe as high as 20. Any opinions?

I agree wholeheartedly. 
No reason to segregate ourselves. Besides I figured that most Browncoats were like myself - members of both the "official" board and this one. I think everyone is just frustrated by the sudden demise of our board. 
I have to agree that it is extremely annoying.

This has NEVER been a problem with me. In fact, this is the most user friendly posting board I've ever been on. I would prefer as few drastic changes as necessary. While I welcome any new posters to this site, where ever they are from, I find it rather insulting that a number of posters from the Official Site seem to expect Haken to change this site to be more like the old one. What about those of us that were here from the get-go?
I don't mean to be grouchy. And maybe this is the being-sick talking. But I happen to love this site the way it is.

Hi LivingImpaired ,nice to meet you ,I fixed that problem and it was on my side ie what Sargeant X said which you probably didn't see until after you posted.
I agree with you ,there shouldn't be any major changes here that would throw you guys off ,I don't know what Hakem plans but whatever it is hes mighty shiny and im sure he will do an excellent job of it.

Oh thank you I found you all!!! I was panicked there for a few minutes!! Especially when I wanted to share my happy news! I recruited a new browncoat! She loves the show and has been coming over frequently to see the episodes - of course in the correct order!! I have another on the line but the hook hasn't quite caught yet... working on it
