alas, it seems it was not meant to be...
But its probably for the best - you don't like snow, and I really don't like the sun, so...

Hey!! I like snow
I'm Canadian,
I'm what you would consider strapping...
Only problem is... I'm already married and as understanding as my wife may be, there are limits...

Dammit!
do you er... happen to have an equally strapping brother?
*** please excuse Helen's overuse of the word 'strapping' as some of you may know, ITV are repeating the show 'Due South' and she thinks she picked it up from there, it is now irrevocably linked to the show and specifically the actor who plays Ben, who, incidentally, now forms the basis of all her mental images of Canadian men. Apart of course, from Nathan.

I'm:
a) a Canadian citizen
b) male (I just checked to make sure... yep)
c) probably given to an alternative definition of "strapping"....
Pro: spent ages 5 - 21 in and in the vicinity of Vancouver (B.C., not Wash. St.) and am thus reasonably certain I can find the nearest Tim Horton's.
Con: I currently live 4,000 km. from said fine city. That's like the equivalent distance from Liverpool to, where, Moscow?

probably.
Is there anywhere in your vicinity a costume girl could get regular employment? other than at McDonalds I mean.
*sigh*
I wonder if its actually Vancouver where they film all those shows. I think the X-files was there, and at some point, Stargate, but I'm not sure now. Need to research, mabye send off begging letters. With a bit of luck I might just squeeze in with out having to subject some poor (but strapping!) guy to a sham marriage.
Anyhoo, consider this thread, if not hijacked then at least sidetracked. I'll but out. Any single, Vancouver based, immoral but hunky men turn up, get them to pm me.
*starts handing out melted marshmallows rolled in rice crispies*
these really are nice, you should try them.

Toronto. Weekdays anyway.
Has this film festival. The one I'm going to be missing this year on account of draco can and Barfury3.
aka New York/Philadelphia/Chicago-north. Definately a film/video industry here. Much, much colder than Vanouver during winter. Much less prettier, too. Paul Gross lives near here...

Also, I've seen Slither. Oooh, Nathan! And I'm not even gay. Heh: my loss.
{Edit} Oooh, Monica Bellucci, Clive Owen....

I'm now incredibly jealous.
Whats the film like? good? does it matter? Hell, I have my oooh, Zoe moments, its entirely understandable... ...I hope.
So do tell, no spoilers, but is it good?
Thanks for the info, (second bout of jealousy) consider me research girl, hunting down costume jobs in a town... halfway across the world

That's right, no kissing and telling. What happens in the past should stay there and never be spoken of again. Glad you remembered that Cozen.
*doesn't look guilty at all*
And yay for watching Due South! Loved it when I was younger and it still holds up well today. Interestingly one of the main writers was David Shore who is the guy behind House, another of my current favourite shows.
Thank you kindly.
