I neglected to post my doc friend's observation, that for a 78-year-old Texas lawyer who probably knows his way around alcoholic beverages, said liver is likely to be somewhat enlarged, and hence prone to more easy penetration. However, there's lots of room between the ribs for a tiny lead pellet to enter. FWIW, I've not personally seen mention of his being hit in the liver. As to penetration to the heart, I too still have my doubts, though my doctor friend has rather extensive experience with ducks and shotgun penetration with #7-1/2 shot, so I tend to trust his observations on the issue. This summer I will perform some penetration tests on my home range. However, I don't see any great reason to doubt the official story, the so-called recent ballistics tests notwithstanding. Those guys who did the testing were to some extent using the indicated size of the strike zone, which is already in serious doubt because a) it's in error as to location, b) the cop who filled out the form was not a forensic pathologist, and c) most likely didn't open the guy's shirt to see exactly how big the strike zone was. Also, from my own observations, having made quite a few shotgun patterns just this past summer as part of my work, I'd say Whittington could not have been much closer than Cheney said he was, or he'd have been more blasted than he appeared in today's photo.

Pirate, I wonder how many here know much of what you mention was brought out -- and never later disproved -- in "None Dare Call it Conspiracy" back in 1970 or so.

I actually wasn't thinking of the connection. I don't know that Cheney in a snorter like Bush and Clinton, his twin bipartisan frontmen. (Oh no. Okay, I gotta stop doing that, it's piratism.)

But that's the important key to Bush is Clinton, that Cheney was close to Clinton and had more pull over him than Al Gore, which is why Clinton gave control of the US military to Cheney, and even may have gone to war for him in Iraq and Kosovo, a charge which the republicans brought up in congress in the 90s, but since then seem to have forgotten. Given that Bush is a snowbrain with no capability to make his own decisions, Cheney runs him like he ran Clinton. Just doing my bit to bring you over on to page Bush is Clinton before we re-elect Hillary.

As to why his head is too big and too distorted, there is no explanation other than the video is a fake, and perhaps the video editors are trying to blow a whistle to alert the public, as the NASA Apollo video editors did, and Mars Lander editors are now doing (blue sky and giant golf balls on Mars filling up entire craters - I doubt it). I do a lot of video editing and production, and I've never seen a videocam or editor program distort an image like that. Compression of streaming video files does create artifacts of fast-moving parts of the frame, but nothing like morphing a head.

I just watched the ballistics test on a blog called onegoodmove.org. They said that Cheney was about 18 feet from Mr. Whittington at the time he pulled the trigger. This guy's a democrat, so nobody's perfect, but he likes Jon Stewart, so at least we have something in common. I think it will be interesting to if all of these liberal investigative blogs are as critical of Hillary when she becomes dictatorette.

The "liberals" will go back to sleep with a DemoRat as figurehead, just like the "conservatives" are asleep with Bush. This ballistics test was completed one day before Whittington first appeared on TV, to compare the police report of the injuries. The video showed pellets all over his face and head, so the shot pattern was wider than on the police report, indicating he was probably further away than 20 feet. No photos nor video have yet been seen of Whittington with his shirt off, before medical treatment began, which would show the severe flesh wounds. No exact count of how many pellets hit Whittington. Without that info, it's not really possible to judge the distance accurately.

As for FREAK BOY, he may be glitch caused by short focal length camera lense, combined with triangulated hypotenuse angle, making FREAK BOY actually closer to camera despite standing behind Whittington, combined with improper compression rendering 640x480 video format to the improper 720x480 widescreen format. Or FREAK BOY may prove the Whittington "survival" video to be a fake PSYOP, like "Bin Laden's" "confession" and "Saddam's" capture and trial.

It will be interesting to see what Whittington does next. Will he sue Cheney, who has assets of at least $50-million? Will he file an insurance claim against the 50,000-acre Armstrong Ranch? If he files a lawsuit, the files will be open to the public, even if the court record is sealed, by simply asking Whittington or his lawyers for their files. Then we can finally see the true injuries.
