What Davey, no hands-on-hips-with-head-shake action for me? I thought for sure you of all people would prance in in a manly fashion and give me le mot juste femine’ and an “Al Gore Won In ‘04” hyperlink. No? Live and learn.

Heh, only if they were terrifying space monkeys.

...

Though I must admit that it might be amusing to watch them hoot and throw poo at each other. So long as I was really far away. You know, out of poo-ing distance.

So, where's the laughing, head-shaking, "Can I start gettin sexed already?" line?

Like snowflakes and dewdrops, all us evil mercs are special in our own unique way. For instance, with a knife, Jayne's more of a slasher, whereas I prefer the strong inside jab. See? Snowflakes and dewdrops.

Plus, if I were to steal one of Jayne’s lines, it would be “I like smackin’ ‘em” (insert comment here ___________________________________________. Now that space is for Davey alone, don't any of you write in it. Thank you)

Aww, that was darn-near poetical!

Duplicitous and innuendo-filled, but poetical in its own way. *winks* Nicely done.

Gah! Blast the double-post!

Um...has anyone noticed that Jayne had bloody hands after beating old Stitch to death in "Jaynestown"?

...

*blushes and ducks out*

Well Bitter, Can I call you Bitter?

I must say you really don't know me. While I frequently decrie that the republican party is much better at stealing elections than the democrats of late (an area in which the dems used to have quite an edge) I don't make a habit of criticising other peoples personal lives. While I perhaps don't approach relationships in the same way you do as long as nobody is being coerced (and I see no evidence of coercion here) I got no problems. In the future you may wish to avoid ascribing motives to other people based on your personal biases.

And just so you know, I don't particularly like being called Davey. I'm cool with Dave or David or in more formal situations Mr. Shayne otherwise I would apreciate you not calling me anything at all.

David

SF, 22, SW Ontario (Canada), politics student, likes Firefly (big shock, I know), most sci-fi, reading, movies, stuff... (writing this is harder than I thought it would be ). Kind of a shy Kaylee-type, or a not crazy River,
who is looking for a Simon-y, Wash-ish, Mal-like kind of guy.

You're at Western? Wow...
We're not too far from each other...
(I only guess Western since you said London a few posts up)
(sorry about double post)

"Personal lives"? Lord Jesus as a mutual fund, spare us from the ironically deficient. They were jokes, Davey...er, Jean Luc Goddard. Come on, just lighten up.

"While I perhaps don't approach relationships in the same way you do as long as nobody is being coerced (and I see no evidence of coercion here) I got no problems."

That is so nice of you that you "see no evidence of coercion" in a POSTING THREAD. Would I threaten with particularly menacing kilobytes? And what is it with this "I don't make a habit of criticising other peoples personal lives/got no problems" stuff? Now, if I was the non-genteel sort, I would call you friggin' hypocrite and demand you show me where I actually "criticized your personal life", which is apparently a whole new level of hidden meaning in my posts that only the great Jean Luc Goddard can actually discern. But I am a genteel sort, so I have to ask instead: puppies or kittens? Me, I prefer kittens. They're so cute. We had two when I was with my great love: Pooter and SS GrupenFuhrer Steiner.
