And, while it sounds great to have the word "official" for the new forum, I don't think it's such a good idea.
Can't really have an official Firefly anything on an unofficial website like mine. There may be legal issues further down the road.
So. Here's what we can do. Provide me a list of names you all would like to call the new forum and I'll setup the poll on this site and have everyone take a vote.

Haken, may I suggest something related to refugees or prisoners of war? Something that relates both to the show, and to the notion of being moved out of a home.

Why do we need segregation? Can't we all just talk in the same board? I would like to meet the "official board fans" and I just know they would like to meet me.
Haken has given Fireflyfans to everybody. Nobody owns it any more than anyone else, nobody is cooler than anybody else. Nobody is being "invaded" as FIREFLYPASSENGER suggested above.

I think that no one is going to believe the Official Forum regulars aren't welcome in other threads - the concern is very specific activities they're looking for, I believe, that may not interest the general populus (such as efforts to get the official board back).

How about creating a new section called Serenity Valley? It's thematically approprate, I think. Exodusters works well too.

I'm not sure how much bandwidth it can handle - it's a free remotely-hosted service. I've got the colors of the Official Board approximated and it is a navigation system I find friendlier than FF.net, but it isn't quite as easy to find new threads as over here at Prospero.
