And BitterBierce? If we could just get rid of that whole "cheating on the girlfriend" thing, we could SO be in business"

Well, good news is as of last night that's no a problem...and as a total coincidence, I appear to be moving tomorrow. The bad news, alas, I live in Houston and refuse to commute anywhere just to get laid.

I did notice one very, very, VERY female trait to your original message, though- you didn't mention your age, which means you're over 25. I had a little bit of fun trying to guess based on what you've written- my conclusion was that you were in my age neighborhood (35) or a little older, but not by more than five years. I'm picky about age- I adore older women. Also like the French, I appreciate the finer things in life. Well, and women around my age, they're really clever and cool and eminantly "congress-able". Uhm, well, and 19 year old cheerleader types. Ok so I'm a bit of a whore. I just love women.

------

Oh, and "StarGirl"? You ruttin' BET. Amen sister, with bells on. I'll email you when I get home from work around six. My ph# is going to change tomorrow, I'll send the new ones.

Well...who saw that coming? Sorry for the loss but hey, since you call it good news, I'll just grin and wink atcha.

Ha! Nice pick-up! However, I'm 29 -- yes, for the first time -- as of last week. I think I was born too late, though. I always seem to get along with folks in your age group and older. Weird, huh?

Aww. Well, there went my indefinable charm. I suppose I'll just have to settle for being lusted over instead of adored.

...

I can live with that.

Poor DaveShayne! He probably has THE WORST opinion of me now! Waaah!

I can't lie, I deserved it. And I pushed for it- I'm always shocked how long women will hold on after men have clearly let go. You know, I promise I'm going to change my evil ways one of these days. One of these days.

Ah, the sweet spot, which is from 26 to 32. Young enough for Original Sin lust, but clever and articulate enough so that the universal male urge to duct tape the younger girl's mouth and keep her tied up in the closet until she's needed isn't overwhelming.

Why would you want to do that? Half of your charm is that you're brutally honest about yourself, even if what you're being honest about isn't terribly flattering or honorable. Don't change, man.

Especially not for a girl.

Heh, you said "sweet spot".

This thread is outta control!

24 yr. old Jayne-type.
Work out, decent looking, also like grenades. seriously.

Bad dancer and hopeless sci-fi addict.

Seeking clever feminine but capable kaylee-type.

this is such a riot.

Doh! Trust a Jayne-type like me to jump into the action, bar-brawl style, without all of the facts. Usually I leave it to the cap'n to tell me the details. Else it ain't much my affair.

I'm in southern California; actually trying to get a writing gig in this fickle monstrosity of a business.

23 SM located in Canada (SW Ontario). Currently a University student.

I'd say I'm more of the Simon type (mean well, but well sometimes things mess up)
I'm a nerd/geek, I'm into many things like games, traveling, cars and well plain and simple fun :)
Anyways I guess i"m looking for more of the Kaylie type of girl.
I believe a relationship should be 50/50, but hey, I guess I'm part of the new breed. :Smile)

Well PM.
And good luck to everyone.

Ok... false first, real second...

33 yr-old fem from Ontario, Canada; Has been living under a rock for 10 years, woke up, fell in love with Firefly then went insane when it was pulled. Currently living in psych-ward of hospital. Seeks body of any kind to come read Firefly/Serenity fanfic to me at my strapped-in bedside.

or

33 yr-old BBW in Ontario, Canada. Employed, clean, imaginative, oh and totally obsessed with Joss and co. material. Routinely can be found smoking the green, watching Firefly/Angel/Buffy daily. Am geeky, fun, loyal and a vegetarian. Seeks open-minded geek with love of same tv tastes- Mal and/or Wash types = mmm mmm good. Jayne types = lickable. Simon types = let's talk, then we'll see. Book tpes = hair, good... intelligence, good... faith, nope. Looking to spend many years in the company of like-minded or complimentary personality to ultimately breed a small army of Josses.

I come by it naturally as well. I'm a son of the west born and bred. (Colorado in case your curious.) So when I talk all Fireflylike it aint all affectation. I do sometimes talk that way.

If nothing else, this is an interesting view on the diversity of the group.
Most of the browncoats i know are males (with a handful of the ladies) and all in their early twenties... then my father, and all in texas.
I thought my group of browncoats was cool because we have a lot of ethnicities and even have one ParaOlympian (archery).
but this is amazing.

one thing though. I am totally unfamilar with the acronyms. BBW, SMSM? what?

Wash: Yeah, but psychic? That sounds like science fiction.
Zoë: You live on a spaceship, dear.
Wash: So?
