Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if most of the major networks didn't carry the story like the title of this post. After all (as I've said elsewhere in this forum), we all know that Bush (which, I suppose, would have to include Cheney by association) is responsible for everything bad that's ever happened to mankind.

It reminds me of something I heard years ago. I don't recall the exact wording, so please forgive me if I mess it up a bit...

It said that if two people were drowning, and Bush jumped in and rescued one of them, the press would report it "Bush watches man drown!!"

And, yeah, Hero, I was aware of that -- although, I'd forgotten that Burr was VP at the time. Lot of interesting things in our past.

In all fairness, the media, which I will grant has a left-bias still, and used to have more of one, reported the story, and dredges it up, though rarely, Kennedy drives women into river, watches her drown. Media just likes death, they're not so partisan about it.

when I heard about Cheny shooting someone while hunting the 1rst thing that popped into my head was, he was probably playing The Most dangerous game, hunting down someone for sport, what no one in this thread is talking about, is that Cheny didnot report that he had shot anyone, apparently he went to dinner with the rest of his party, Somehow this story got out, I don't know the full details but this story reeks something isn't right about it.

I'm not saying to an extint this isn't funny, espeacially the way the media is playing this down, but really Cheney shot a man and could have possibly killed him, how do we really know this was an accident ( because the media is saying so)( and even if it was an accident, just because he's the vice President should he be above the law I think not, although we all know nothing is going to happen to Cheney regardless) lets look at the facts, Cheney didn't report what he did, or what had happened to the proper authorities, apparently he went and had dinner with his hunting party

I think the spin is actually the funniest part:

We didn't report it because our focus blah blah blah was to make sure that the man got the care that he needed blah blah blah and to make sure that all traces of alcohol washed out of Dick's system blah blah...."

These little men are so concerned about human life that they waste 36 hours before doing anything substantive about Katrina? Sometimes I think Scott McClellan has to drink himself into a stupor in order to get thru his day. That, or he's been lobotomized into a snail's personality.

This is the kind of statement that needs a fair number of credible sources. Supporting Bush is not a right wing position. It's supporting Clinton continued. Show me a mainstream 'liberal' media source which continuously arttacked the genocidal policies of Bill Clinton.

yeah the spin is hi-larious, Cheney more then likely not was drunk out of his gourd, if not that then something else is going on, one thing for sure they are hiding something and the man has now had complications and has had a heart attack apparently one of the pellets was lounged in the man's heart.

For all we know Cheney may have not only been drunk but the man may have pissed him off and Cheney knowing he's above the law probably went off on him,
