Objects in space, when River is talking to Early and says she'll be going with him.
Right after she says "can live simple" to the crew, a great violin string cuts in that plays out to the rest of the scene, best part.
Outside that, in serenity when we first see the ship as it pans off the words "Serenity" on the side of the ship and they enter atmo, and also the last 10 or so minutes of the movie where they play different soft variations of the main title string.
Lots of great music in the series.

I love the crescendo of Early descending to Serenity in OIS.
That horn in the backgorund is giving this lurking sound. (oboe / bass clarinet? )
Then it builds...
Oh yeah! Great music in Firefly.
