I'd like to see the crew of Serenity and the crew of The Betty throwing back a few.

And then maybe they pick up a bounty hunter named Toombs who needs to deliver his bounty, Riddick, to Butcher Bay.

Meanwhile, back on Earth that was, a new Slayer named Fray has appeared...

I myself have master thoughts about River. She seems like she has Slayer powers. I wouldn't be surprised to see that Buffy "crossover" (less crossover of charries, more of universes) popping up.

"Bwaa...it's kind of a warrior...strikes fear into the hearts of..."

I am actually reading two fanfics with crossovers from the Buffy-verse on fanfiction.net. Neither one is complete yet, but they are both pretty good.
Titles and URLs if interrested "Slayers in Space" by sevangel and "From Here to Serenity" by Bastard Snow.

I could stand to hear a little more.

Okay I love all Star Trek, really, but...

Firefly Voyager crossover. Janeway speachafies about Federation values and whatnot. Due to the striking familiarity the Federation bears to the Aliance, Mal kills them all. Violently.

Hilarity ensues. :)

id love to see a Stargate Atlantis crossover simply to see a rading party of reavers take on a bunch of wraiths and see who would win (lets see how the wraith like geting fed on!), id also love to see a bunch or reavers try going thru the stargate to atlantis and splatter against their big see thru energy shield. Also love to see Kaylee put Mckay in his place about some kind of mechanical fault and Mal and Shepard duke it out.

You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds. Love keeps her in the air when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home." Mal, BDM

Staying on a military theme, how about After M*A*S*H in the Black? For Alliance Colonel Sherman Potter, Serenity Valley was the last straw. Forced by orders to wait helplessly in orbit while the two sides hammered out the terms of surrender, he and his M*A*S*H unit had to listen to the Browncoat's desperate pleas for aid as the survivors of the battle slowly died. When his medship was finally allowed to set down, there was hardly anyone left to save. Unable in good conscience to continue to serve a government he no longer believed in, he turned down the offer of a prestigious post as director of a major Alliance veteran's hospital, and with several of the former officers under his command signed up with the Hippocrates Foundation to crew one of their Firefly class "Mercy ships" bringing medical care to the Rim. (See my post TRAIT (minor Asset) "Sponsor" on the "Waves In The Black" forum at http://www.aimoo.com/forum/postview.cfm?id=671180&CategoryID=455831&st

for details on the Foundation.) These included
- Pilot Walter "Radar" O'Reilly*
- Mechanic Maxwell Q. Klinger*
- Dr. Benjamin Franklin "Hawkeye" Pierce
- Dr. B.J. Hunnicut
- Dr. Charles Emerson Winchester III
- Nurse Margaret Hoolihan
- Shepherd Francis Mulcahy

(*Note: both pilot and mechanic alternately doubled as orderlys and company clerks on Potter's M*A*S*H medship, while the Shepherd was the unit chaplain.)

I love this idea. Seriously. It's just...awesome. I love MASH, MASH in the black is like...awesome. wow.

Oh yeah...and I also like the Highlander idea somebody mentioned. Jubal Early as an imortal? wow...like that idea. Except...(recalls his outfit) were would he have kept his sword?

OOOh, I'd so love to see Jayne beat the snot out of Riker. Meanwhiles Mal steals all their replicators then sells them to Quark at a discount over on DS9...

I would like to see a Pirates of the Carribean crossover. Put Captain Jack Sparrow and crew on another firefly and call it Pearl of the Black. Heck, the actress that plays Captain Sparrow's first mate is named Zoe in real life. Add Grace Jones as Zula from Conan the Destroyer to play a Jayne role. Throw in Sean Connery to play an old and wise shepherd. Have them meet Serenity at Capitol City and steal a lot of gold together and then throw a big party in space. Shepherd Sean could stop them from making a golden calf.

So many worlds. So little time.

How's this for a slice of fried gold...
Serenity touches down on a moon and in a bar, Mal is approached by Yul Brenner and Steve McQueen, and they ask him and Zoe to help protect a village from bandits. The name of this episode? "The Magnificent Nine." To bad both actors are no longer with us.

Or what if there is a fortune in gold buried in a graveyard, and Eli Wallach knows the location, Clint Eastwood knows the name on the tombstone, and Mal has to win a three way shootout to get paid.

Ok, last one. It deals with Wash's backstory, how he joined flight school to see the stars, went off to war, and lost the edge when his copilot was killed due to jet wash. Ironically enough, that's how he got the nickname "Wash." Finally he overcomes his fears and sense of loss to beat Val Kilmer and win Top Gun. Iceman loses and his name goes on the alternate's plaque in the women's restroom.

"All I got is a red guitar, three chords, and the truth...the rest is up to you"
