Crazy stuff that would happen if Firefly was still on

Firefly should have not been canceled after 11 episodes, we all agree with that or we would not be posting on a fansite 4 years later. At least we got a really good movie out of it
So maybe we were lucky Whedon got to the point with Serenity.

Buffy/Angel ran for 8 years and during that time.Buffy died and was brought back twice,
Buffy slept with Angel and SPIKE(I still cannot get over they whole Spike-romance thing's stupidity)
Williow turned gay
Angel had a kid?
Cordy and Angel got together?
Xander dated a half dozen demonds and got his eye poked out
Cordellia was impregnated via demons twice
Buffy has a sister appear out of thin air.
And finally the dumbest subplot of all the slayerettes(Season 7)

Don't get me wrong I LOVE firefly/Angel/Buffy butt the writing did get a little shaky at times not ehough to make you stop watching...but imagine if Firefly were still on and Mal and Saffron were toghether or something of that nature.

Oh dear god, I know. That's a major problem with television in general - once the corporations have thier hands in something they don't care about the *art* of the thing, just the money.

While I'd love to see more Firefly/Serenity, part of me's glad that we got one major arc... and the rest is left up to our imaginations.

Not me, bring on the crazy stuff... I know that Joss and Tim and co. and our beloved crew would have pulled anything they wrote for them off with style!

Think of the missed adventures, the missed kisses, the missed Vera and mysteries solved or more hinted at!

Lots of stories left, lots.

I agree, FollowMal. I'd love to see where Joss planned to take his BDHs. I don't think I could ever come up with any storylines half as interesting as what he'd invent.

Besides, think of all the shiny threads we could start about each of the new episodes!

if you've been following wonder con then you know we are getting some more Serenity/Buffy comics!
(THANK GOD!!!!!!!)

But Joss ain't gonna have oddells of time with that so don't expect the Operative to turn good , Wash returning from the dead or Inara and Kaylee hooking up

Back to Buffy
Just imagine if Season 2 Buffy woke up in Season 7. That would be a pretty interesting story.

PLUS Buffy never found out about half the werid stuff that happened on Angel. Ever since Cordy and Angel got together (an idea that grew on me more than I thought it would) I'd been waiting for Buffy's reaction to that but Joss never paid that off for us....maybe in the comics....sniff

I've been following the new Angel series of comics (quite well done, though I admit loathing the text bits in the back). I don't follow comics news too closely (I have a wonderful store owner who understands vague directions like "anything with Gaiman"). Hearing there's gonna be new stuff means he's gettin' a "catch anything Firefly for me!" note as well!

I don't think season 2 Buffy would like season 7 Buffy at all. After high school, her character progression was a long slow descent into militarism. Compelling storytelling, necessary for the character's survival - but not much with the fuzzies. :/
