Actually, I think she looks great with the shadows and stringy hair. When I eventually got to see photos of Summer not as River, I hardly recognized her.
Just watched "Serenity" for the 7th time, and I'm once again awed by her performance, as well. But as I've multitudinously belabored that point, I won't do so again here.
