If at all possible, I'd get a bit of artwork for the following scene. Not only is it a hilarious visual, but it's one of the few times such a scene happens where everybody on my crew is together in one place.

The lights came on strong, with all of the women leapin' out of their hiding place behind the counter in the kitchen.
"Surpri... huh?" they all shouted, almost in perfect unison. Anne burst out laughing, first of them, a wide grin on her petite features as she held her sides. Sylvia nodded knowingly and promptly looked away from their danglin' selves. Friday just stood poleaxed. Until a grin, not unlike Anne's began to creep upon her. Early, who'd been sitting in the nook, leaned out to get a look at them, and chuckled.
"You know," his voice came out evenly. "I think they won."
(Just in case you didn't know, Jacob, the Captain, and Zane, the mechanic, are both butt-nekkid after getting robbed.)

If I knew how, I'd post a link to the Fic. Reading the first part would make the scene that much funnier. If you need, I can give some rough descriptions of characters. Not really expecting anything precise, considering I still don't know what most of these characters look like.

I'm not a fanfic writer, but I've been reading Firefly fanfic (obsessively) from the beginning. This is the first time I've looked at the art on this site and all I can say is: wow! Have you thought about partnering with an author -- amdobell, mal4prez, any one of many other excellent writers -- to create a graphic novel? I'd buy it. I'd purchase it for my library. The prospect blows me away.

(If you haven't read them you might be put off by the volume because I'm over 220,000 words into the storyline)

The storyline starts with Death or Glory moves onto Wolfpack then Here Be Dragons and I'm currently working on the follow-up series Horse, Foot & Artillery. It's not to everyones taste though (Hard Sci-Fi/Mil Fic)

IF your offer still stands....

I have posted a Fanfic titled SAGANAMI TWO FIVE which deals with the crew of a TALON class Medical transport. The series of stories begins with the end of the Battle of Serenity Valley. Would appreciate a pic based maybe showing them picking up wounded or showing the low altitude high speed approach to the LZ??
