Newbie to the fandom

Hi everyone! Like I said, I am really new to all of this. I was dragged into Serenity kicking and screaming, but fell in love with it and Firefly. Recently, I started my first Firefly fanfic, and I'm not sure if I'm getting it right. If anyone could sort of mentor me a little and get me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it.

Have you posted your fanfic yet? Or did you need someone to beta it, because there are some folks on here that do that for writers... I don't happen to be one of 'em, but they'll offer I'll bet when they see your post.

Hang on a bit, someone will come along, who knows someone who they'll recommend to you. I haven't been here long enough to contribute to stories, I'm definitely not good enough at writing.

Just the same, I sure do look forward to reading it!

thanks! My story is actually posted on this site and on fanfiction.net as well. I don't have a beta yet for it so there are probably loads of mistakes.

Welcome here, we're weird.

Since you're new you get to hear my standard, "You're new you might not know," speach.

You're new here so you might not have heard that we can, in theory, have more. If we want that we need to convert more people who will in turn convert more people, thus allowing us to spread like a plague.

Of course all converts will need to buy the DVDs for themselves.
