If you like Firefly for more than just special effects and cool costumes, you should check out www.freestateproject.org. Maybe you don't need to travel to the fringe planets to be free, after all.

I've been a member of the Free State Project for several months, and hope to see it through in the next couple of years. I returned my ballot last week. We've voted for Alaska.
