I'm from Omaha and the weather indeed sucks here..good ole' Nebraska. Great idea about having your daughter watch the episodes coming up in March, that was what I was going to try and have my friends do since I myself am watching borrowed copies. Soon as I get the money though I know what I'm buying myself!

I lived on a farm near Aurora for over 25 years. I remember the way the wind comes sweepin' down the plains and I don't miss it.

My daughter has a DVR, but she's an X-Files addict and didn't think she had enough disk space to record all the Firefly episodes along with the X-Files. I know she'll love Firefly once she sees it. I'll keep working on her and you keep working on your friends, and maybe we'll all keep flyin'. :)

I'm a transplanted Nebraskan myself and I'm also relatively new to the site, but I can already tell you that I really like it here. Lots of good folk and it's never boring. Have fun and welcome!
