WoooHooo!!!! That's the best news I've read or heard in weeks. I am truly stoked. I hope they are able to get the entire cast back, and the movie makes buckets of money, rubbing Fox's noses in the success that we know Firefly deserves.

One voice of bitterness: I hope FOX is pissed as hell about having a valuable franchise sold out from under them. Worthless corporate stiffs. They've been dreaming for years of having another "X-Files," and when they got it, they were too ignorant to notice. I hope the film is a massive success and numerous people at Fox get fired. This is fabulous news. The next best thing to not having the show on the air any longer. I can't wait. It's really unprecedented for a short lived, canceled TV series to be turned into a movie. I can't think of another series in which this happened. If Fox had marketed the series properly, and just given it a chance, I have no doubt it would of succeeded. I think a lot of people jumped on the bandwagon after they learned about the show after it was canceled. Nevertheless, this is great. If it does well, we can look forward to sequels. Who knows, maybe it will be another shot to be TV series. I know this is very unlikely, but I can dream.

Actually, I think I read somewhere that Joss wants to continue the TV series. As long as another station (sci-fi maybe??) picks it up. And if the movie DOES do well, people are gonna be like "that used to be a tv series? darn it I missed it" and then they'll HAVE to pick it up. I think a movie is just the jumpstart the TV show needed to keep flying.

I have tears of joy right now...this is such wonderful news!!!! I was finally able to watch the unaired episodes recently, and I felt the same way I did in December..."Why did they cancel this?"...I am so glad Joss gets to expand the story we all love so much!

It was real easy. Right click on a page, then click source, and the html code is displayed. Then you can save it to your computer and tweak away to your leisure.
