Firefly DVD release date confirmed by FOX Home Video

With all the date changes happening over at Amazon.com, a fan inquired Fox Home Video about the Firefly DVD release date and this was their response:

I am quite fond of this website which is why i wanted to order the Firefly DVD off of Amazon because i guess that is supposed to support this website but then amazon wasn't taking orders saying that FOX wasn't producing the DVD so i order it off Barens & Nobles.com will that support the site too or is the deal only through amazon? i really should start using punctuation but as i tend to ramble that is much more reflective of my personality

Just Amazon. And the only reason why it's Amazon was because I had to sign up for an Amazon Associates account to use their Web Services to create my Amazon DVD ranking tracker.

The support of this website thing came secondary, but since it's a freebie, why not take advantage of it? I was kinda bummed that Amazon pulled the plug on the second day of the pre-order. I really wanted to use the data collected to create a nice graph. Oh well.
