Region 2 DVD???

Does anybody have a clue what Fox are doing with the DVDs in the UK?

It seems odd to me that they've not said anything yet. In the past we've always gotten most of their TV releases a long time before anybody else and it the show did really well here having achieved the highest ever cable ratings for it's slot and doing that whilst up against both Smallville and Alias.

I'm beginning to worry that this will become one of those things that we never get.

You're not alone. But seeing as how Joss was interested in FF's development here (seen as how he contatced Sci-Fi about the right viewing order) I hope he'll make something happen

I dunno, Fox is pretty good with UK DVDs, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if we see a Firefly DVD appear around the same time as Buffy S7 & Angel S4.
