Does anyone have a theme that doesn't involve installing some stupid manager? I would rather have a .zip/.rar than a .exe.

just go to the theme site and look in the ICON section and the WALLPAPER section as i put the images, wavs and icons used to make the theme in zips, so that you can just use what you want to manually set your theme up

I personally go for relatively simple wallpapers and themes (and also hate theme managers). Most of my system sounds are just that - sounds. Not vocal.

I've been constructing some stuff for myself and my wife (who are now officially addicted - got her after the first episode of FF).

I'm wanting to gauge interest, and interest in formats (MP3/wav/BMP/JPG) for these things. The idea is that I'm doing this ANYWAY - but I'll keep elements or formats that I may not use for y'all.

i didnt relise that the theme program was required, the theme installs ok without the theme manager because i kept the standard blue xp appearance only the boot/logon screens do not install and the sounds may need to be manually set

as for formats .wav is best for system sounds and jpeg works fine for wallpaper (and easier to upload to net)

I've done a bit of work on it - but absolutely zero on the "presentation" side of things.

The wav files and few graphics are at:

It's not a pretty setup at present, but you're welcome to what's there.
