So I got the Jayne dogtags today! They are one of those designs that turned out really, really good in person. There is a definate learning curve when it comes to designing for dogtags, and I think I'm finally starting to figure out the counterintuitive finer points. The design on this one is really clear and easy to make out. My pics are kind of crummy though.
They are in stock in my store at www.serenityverse.com/shop for 13.50 including domestic and international shipping. I ship anywhere in the 'verse.
When I was designing this tag, I really wanted to include a grenade or a reference to grenades, but it just didn't work out. But I did come up with a shiny option; I ordered a handful of sterling silver grenades that you can hang on the chain along with the dogtag. Those haven't actually arrived yet (they are coming from Singapore, or Thiland, or someplace like that) but I do have the combination available to pre-order for $20.00.
I was not entirely happy with the way my first Book dogtag looked in person, so I went back to the drawing board and redesigned it. It was worth the effort! The new tag is now something I can be proud of, rather than one that is simply okay.
I have a few of the old design left; I'll be pricing them at $10.00 on my site to clear 'em out. The new design is $13.50 at www.serenityverse.com/shop including free shipping anywhere in the world.

Just thought I'd give this a bump since I just received my second set of dogtags. I already bought the ship tag and the Han Zi tag now I have both Browncoats tags added to my collection. Hard to believe but I think these are even better than the first two I purchased. Jetflair I think you've just about perfected these things, keep em' comin.

Those look fantastic, but there's so many shiny things I've still got to pick up...the sound tracks, wanna look at that novel at some point and from that other thread, I have to get a browncoat. Still, if you're still up and running in a couple months I'll definately buy one or two :)

Hello, everyone!
Yes, I do plan to make more, and I have every intention of being around for a good long while. I'm going to eventually produce a tag for each crew member, plus perhaps Yo-Saff-Brig. Right now I have Mal, Wash, Jayne, and Book.
I'm currently designing the Kaylee tag, and I'm pretty sure (I just go by the number of requests for each character) I'll be doing River next, followed by Simon. After that, I'm not sure in what order I'll produce the Inara and Zoe tags.
I've also added significantly to my jewelry lineup and add more stuff all the time:)
