So, Mal, Wash, Jayne, Simon or even Shepard Book?

Mal, definitly! I would die for this guy.
Wash is all funny and cuddly, I would love to have him as a best friend.
Jayne can be quite sweet sometimes, when he thinks no one is watching. I think I would not push him out of my bed, either, but he is a little too dumb to interest me for a long term relationship.
I am really not a Simon girl. Maybe he is too young for my taste. I agree he is kind of cute in a clumsy way, but not my type. (My best friend would opt for him, though, but she is nine years younger than I am...).
And the Shepherd? Well, he is a Shepherd. He is interesting, though, with all this stuff he knows about fighting and criminal activities and weapons and stuff. Interesting past to discover and such. And for a guy his age he is quite good looking.

But, I have to admit, Mal has been the man of my dreams since watching the first ep.

Have fun,
Capella

Well, I seem to have similar tastes to some of y'all (even those some 20-25, 35 years older then me...how weird is that? :D)...but to make this not be the same, I'll make a random "I'm Brazilian" comment. See? Different.

The first would be Mal. Mal. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal. Dear God, how can such a prudish man be soooo sexy -all- the time? Someone once wondered why he doesn't just explode or something. Of course, if Inara was in the picture, not so much. Maybe 'cause we're both Brazilian, she'd share...probably not...

Wash. The man is soooooo very pretty. x.x I'm a sucker for blonds/redheads/whatever they call that hair color now. Especially the nice, smart ones with the funny jokes and the piloting and the-sorry, off track. Zoe would probably find a few fun ways to torture me...

Simon. I haaattteee that he's so shy and awkward, but maybe if we got past the shy and awkward, he'd be higher ranked. Or not.

Jayne is last 'cause I'm not so much into the whole muscly, simplistic guy. Simplicity and muscly are both kind of turnoffs for me. Who can blame me? I'm in Highschool. All there -is- is muscly and simple.

Book - no. Just...no.

Captain Reynolds never touched me, all he did was rent me a shuttle and be very, very annoying!

I just love all of the responses we have gotten from the women of this group. But keep them coming. Because we just like the men have our want's and needs. And it seems that the men of Firefly/Serenity are in definit want and need.

Simon.

It would be fun to rip away all of that propriety to find the wildness beneath.

Simon.

No one else.

Just Simon.

Everything that Jacqui, Canton Heroine, Humbug & Shinytalent said....

Jayne!

Except no sharing, cause I think I'm probably older....so age before beauty.

Am I really the only one here who would jump Wash first? Not that I don't appreciate the aesthetic value of say, Simon and Mal, but the funny/geeky/deeply caring/dedicated personality really wins me over.

After Wash, I'd say...
1. Simon
2. Mal
3. Jayne
4. Book is way too old for me.

Simon - beautiful and sensitive. Mmmmmm.
Wash - funny and easy-going!
Jayne - ...if there's alcohol involved. (And a shower on his part.)

NOT:
Book - old!
Mal - I love his character to death, but he takes so much work! He's much more fun to watch.

i was just thinking about this!

jayne-- because, well, he's hot, got a big gun, big knife, big hands, big arms... seems like he'd be a little, uh, rough
mal runs a close second, with his intelligence, fatalism, seriousness and all
wash-- so funny! and cute!
simon-- cutie, too pretty but cute
book-- damn awesome
can i do jayne again?

i'll be in my bunk

gone, i say and walk from church,
refusing the stiff procession to the grave,
letting the dead ride alone in the hearse.
it is june. i am tired of being brave.

Let's see...

Can I please have an order of Simon, with Simon appetizer and a side order of Simon? And of course, for desert, some Simon.

I love him so much, he's sweet, sensitive, a little shy and awkward but in an intensely endearing way, and he's absolutely smoking.

I really don't know about the rest. Wash appeals to me greatly but... I can't envision him with anyone other than Zoe. But he's such a sweetie, full of laughter and fun and intelligence... and can I help it if I like him when he's bare armed?

I think actually Book would be next. Yes, he is a bit on the old side, but so is Sean Connery and people still think he's the smex. He is charismatic, kind, and very intelligent. I can envision having a great conversation with him.

Mal... I dunno. He's awesome, but I'm not attracted to him in the same way as Simon, maybe just not my type. Also, from a relationship standpoint, the man has more baggage than an airline checkin desk, and though I like the fixer-uppers, I'm not sure that Mal CAN be "fixed" (or that he should be, he's nice the way he is). I think, barring Inara, the only woman he can ever love is his ship.

Jayne would come last. I don't think I'd want to be with a man I can't trust, and he says/does some rather shallow and sexist things (trying to trade Vera for Saffron, for example). Plus stubble just doesn't do it for me.
