I honestly do not know.
The three places I can find that sell it in this country, one of them is staffed by elitist tossers and I refuse to give them any of my money, the other is reasonably cheap (100 for about £30) but wants 17 quid just to post them, and the other I only found after I put the order in, but they are good if I only want one or two 'cause their p&p is really cheap, but the bones aint (over £52 for 100) This site I got a gross (144) four busks and p&p for just under fifty, which was the best deal, even with the vat.
But the search continues for a cheap supplier in this country.
About the corset measurement don't bust a gut, and certainly don't spend more time than you need to around noisome valentines couples, just if you can it would be handy, otherwise I can do it by calculation.
I'll write up that list and post it tomorrow afternoon.

Wow!
What fun!
Both of my corsets are custom from Dark Gardens in San Francisco, but the one in the picture you posted is amazing!!
http://www.darkgarden.com/
I've seen the t-shirt duct-tape pattern used before and it works okay. The person I know who uses it most often does a full mock-up in denim first, and fits THAT before creating the actual corset. (Although the denim mock-ups usually get worn just as often as the dressy model!)
Most corset wearers I know are pretty opposed to shoulder straps, primarily because it's hard to get the fit just right on them.
And good boning is dang near impossible to get, without going to Canada or France. Dunno why. Just is, even with the current corset craze.
(Can anybody tell me why bone-thin little celebrity chicks are insisting on wearing corsets when it's obvious that they have NOTHING to fill them out with? It just looks pathetic!)

Do you want me to post photo's? I was going to try and put up colour samples, details of braids and stuff, but ... I have no idea where my camera is - it could be anywhere by now...
Oh, like I said TWG, i'll get Serenitys corset measured up and then let you know if I have enough left for yours should you still want it.
So keep checking this thread out.

yes, that question always get me aswell, but slightly dirrerently.. My mom has a theory that models are all stickish people because the influential fashin designers are all gay men, so subconciously theyre trying to make women look like men (what is charmingly referred to a tit-less wonders)
but if that is the case why bring back something so feminine as the corset?
Have you noticed that all of Vivienne Westwoods models tend to have great boobs? Clothes for women.. designed by a woman...
I love Viv, she's an absolute goddes in tartan, if only I had a Viv budget...*sigh*

Photos would not be amiss. And they'd be FUN!
If you can hunt up your camera, that is.
I was thinking that when it came time, I could send you pics of me, since you were so interested in my natural posture and all that.
*loses the rest of the thread as it veers into FashionLand. Serenity is easily lost in FashionLand.*

I just want to break in with this Link for the Sci Fi channel. If you have any suggestions for programing (specifically a second Firefly season) this is where you write. Don't just use the link, pass it on to any place you think we might get support. feedback@scifi.com

How tight do you think he can go, Ladies? 22? 18? He doesn't REALLY need kidneys, does he?
Maybe we need a corset picture thread?
