Ballet in Angel

I recently started purchasing full seasons of Angel on DVD. I am up to season 3 now and have just finished watching the commentaries and extras (which I do after watching the season straight through) and I have to say the deleted scene from "Waiting in the Wings" involving Wes and Fred dancing ballet has got to be simultaneously one of the funniest and maybe the second most disturbing thing I have ever seen on that show,

the most disturbing being the Connor-Cordelia get together in season 4.

But disturbing in a different way. Kind of like a "What the Hell is that?!" (as Mayor Diamond Joe Quimby is so fond of saying in The Simpsons) kind of moment. High comedy. I especially like the part where Wes has to tug at his tights because they are ill fitting and uncomfortable. ha HA!

Hmm..I dont remember seeing the deleted scene from "Waiting in the Wings". Is that on the last disc from S3? I loved the bloopers from S4. Wes's speach when he is about to get Faith from jail:

*goes something like*
"There is one persone who can help us get Angel back....Carl from Kraft Services"

"..it is my very favorite gun."

It is on whatever disc the episode is on. On the main menu, select the episode and then move down the list to the deleted scene. It is listed on the menu with the Scene selection. Watch it first without the commentary and then watch it with the commentary. Funny stuff.

Whichever season it is, ( 1 or 2? ) where Angel goes to a party and has a miserable time. In the out takes, he and Wes start goofy dancing...it's friggin hi-larious.

Per Waiting in the Wings, that's one of my favorite eps. Not only for the story, ( I can relate as Wes gets his heart stomped on my Gunn and Fred ... ) but also we get to see Summer dancing !

Did you know that Summer Glau is in that episode. She played the Russian Balerina.

and the best part is that scene is the whole reason joss wanted to do that episode, and it wound up getting cut lol. I also loved the summer glau was in that episode, it's weird seeing her not being crazy lol.
