Music that reminds me of Firefly--Please take my Vid ideas!

I'm guessing other people also hear certain music and it reminds them of Firefly. I've been meaning to post this for some time, as I think ya'll will enjoy these songs.

Also, for those who own music video making software, I would love it if you would take my ideas for Firefly vids--I have them all mapped out in my head but no time or software. I would love to email my ideas to anyone interested, and then you can run with them yourself.

The songs (all available on iTunes, I checked):
"If everyone cared" on the new Nickleback CD--even mentions fireflys!
"Firefly" by Sister Hazel (my favorite band) on their CD "Lift"
"I hope you dance" by LeAnn Womack
"Ready for your love" by Chantal Kreviazuk--a Kaylee and Simon song, perhaps add Mrs. Reynolds for humor?

Lastly, "A clock Stopped". It's a lovely waltz piece, I think by KGB? I don't know if that's a real group, it's the info I have. The song is very much in the Firefly soundtrack line, reminds me of the end song in "the Message". I got the song from a friend, so I'm afraid I'm not sure where to tell you to get it. Ask if you're interested and we can work on finding it.

Please post your Firefly music! There are others that remind me, but these are my favorites. Let's see what you've got.

I agree with this one wholeheartedly! I have it in my car and turn it up when it gets to this song and all I can think is that it must be talking about Firefly ( maybe it isn't, but I like to think it is

Yay! I'm not alone! I'm so glad you think the same thing. I get all misty about Wash when they sing "nobody died"...(I've also wondered if they're firefly fans...)

Greta Gaines has a killer song called Firefly
And the band Delerium has a song called Euphoria (Firefly) as well as one called Serenity... (I was a fan of both, before I even heard of the show... its like foreshadowing) Delerium kicks booty... HIGHLY recomended!!!

Yea, Amylisai- I love the part where they say "teach them all to sing along". Makes me think they are Firefly fans. It'd be interesting to find out if they are.

If you listen to the entire Joshua Tree album from U2, the whole thing reminds me of FF/S. Especially take note of Trip Through Your Wires (Mal and Inara), Running to Stand Still (Simon and River), Exit & I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (Mal again, also Book), and In God's Country (which makes me thing about Serenity herself). Of course Where the Streets Have No Name could have been the theme song for the whole series.

I do like the other suggestions though. Sometimes Allision Krauss and Union Station make me think FF thoughts too.
