Do your midnight shows ever sell out? I read on your theater's website that tickets aren't available in advance except for members.

I wouldn't worry about selling out. Theater 1 seats 320 plus change. We usually sell 60-100 for a midnite show. For a Rocky Horror, maybe 150. Even if Browncoats turn out in force, I'd be very surprised if we sold out. That's why if we get even a crowd of 150 or so it'll really impress the theater owners.
Even if we do get 320, then I can move the print over to our other theater, which seats 360 - I might even put it in that theater anyway.
And if we got a miracle crowd of over 360, there's always the option of running it in both theaters simultaneously (there are ways - long story) - so that's almost 700 seats!
It is true only members can get advance tickets (one of the perks of joining our non-profit org), but please don't let that keep anyone from coming! I am *sure* we can get everyone in!
One of the benefits of having a Browncoat run the screening...

Hello,
I'm a new Firefly/Serenity fan (and I live near Philly). I missed Serenity the first time around in the theater (I'm a very new fan), so I thank you for showing this! I'll be sure to be there.
It would be great to meet some local Browncoats!

I'll be sure to relay this info to my brother and his wife who live in the area! I unfortunately *sob* do not, but I thank you! You may inspire other independent movie theaters to do the same!
I'm jealous! but wish everyone a wonderful time!

Make sure you advertise the hell outta this. At least two weeks in advance in all the local papers, web, etc.
No way I could make this, being as far as Texas that I am. Then again, Philadelphia IS a suburb of Dallas, soooo....
Everyone dies alone.

Man, I'm jealous! I went to Villanova University (Right down the street) for undergrad and used to go up to that theater all the time. I so wish I could get back...

You know, this raises a whole new possible way to advance the firefly cause - use the old Rocky Horror Picture Show midnight showing model.
What DOES happen to all those prints once they leave the theares? And what would it take to engineer a coordinated showing on college campuses and midnight movie theatres nationwide?
Just wondering.

I run the Firefly Talk podcast and I'll mention this on our next show, which comes out in a few days. We have many thousands of listeners so that should help get the word out. Hopefully I'll be able to drive up from Baltimore as well, I like to take Serenity road trips.
