Holding. But I am about to propose a mission to procure some fresh fruit. This protein stuff tastes like....Oh. Never mind. That actually WAS a leather strap.

Can we order out for pizza?

"Do not go gentle into that good night....
Rage, rage against the dying of the light. . .

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night. . ."

Yeah, i'm not seein that. I'm not a Joss Fan. I'm a Firefly fan. Never got into Buffy or the spin-off. They had their moments but i thought they were just kinda .. well, i'm not here to bash. Firefly was very special. I haven't watched much TV the last few years. That's why i never caught Firefly til it came to DVD. Been a fool for it ever since.

So, i guess to sum it up, if it ain't gonna be Firefly, well, that's just sad...

Um do you mean Croquet like the lawn game?

Or Crochet, like the knitting thing?

Gelassenheit means Serenity

"Second one, Silifone." - Homer S.

It´s the knitting thing. ;)

I second that. I always thought, Buffy was "okay" (except the Musical, that was great ^_^ ), but you can´t compare it to Firefly. it´s just way to different.

I'll be smuggling some scotch when I get back from the black... but we'll have to drink it quick, cuz it has alliance stamps all over it..

I gotta agree that those who are leaving may not have really been browncoats after all.. so.. well.. see ya... come back when the show is back on and remember why you loved the 'verse in the first place..

remember... this crew has DONE THE IMPOSSIBLE.. done it once.. can surely do it again..

battle of serenuty valley.. remember? lasted longer than expected.. well this here's another such battle...

I just hope more than two of us are alive when it's over...

I don't have a problem if some people want to hang up their browncoats for awhile. I understand how they feel. It can be an emotional drain having to hang on with the franchise's future still in doubt. If they have to give themselves some emotional distance, fine.

Me, I've already got my Big Damn Pass for Flanvention II. We hold.

I don't disagree on any particular point.

Beans and protein! We can hold out until Judgement Day if we have to.

...Although you might wanna bring a pack of matches (or a Glade Plug-in) with you for that stand, especially if FollowMal brings back beer. Ever see "Burning Saddles", specifically, the cookout scene?

Some of us will hold forever, cuz it's what we are. Think of that Japanese soldier they found living in a cave on some remote jungle atoll back in the 70's. Nobody'd ever told him WWII was over. I'd bet his rescuers had a hell of a time convincing him to go home (especially if they were Caucasians).

We are the few, the proud, the willing cannonfodder. Somebody's gotta establish a beachhead and hold it against impossible odds. What does that make us? Big... Damned... Marines (Balls and Bayonets Expeditionary Force).

P.S.
Anybody want some boiled eggs to go with beans, beer and protein? If you're gonna go, might as well go nuclear...

We'll hold. This is the place. Joss will get to the job and we'll buy him the time. (literally)

He'll get the signal out again. I know he will.

We'll all keep fighting for the cause! No surrender! Everyone knows that people are generally good, joss will find a way to bring back Sernity he can't drop it, and the actors wont hesitate to jump on board. proof of this is a quote from Ron Glass in the making of featurette from the firefly box set:

"I can't think of a day when remembering my time on firefly won't make me cry"

*sets up a bunker on the beachhead*
