Tonight I hung out with a friend of mine who has just recently taken up posting here. Yay! Welcome to Metalingus, and I'm so glad that I have a friend somewhere close that understands this obsession that I have.
My quesiton is: are there any other SLC area browncoats that go to the U? If you don't go to the U are you cool? Haha, of course that's a subjective quesiton. The obvious answer is YES.
Wacky fun!

Mattie! I am glad you wrote so quickly. That was fast. I am hoping there are other Salt Lake fans that post. I guess I'm in the clear since I got to the U. Hopefully there's more of us as obsessed (in the best way possible) out there.

Met,
Yeah, I hope there are other U fans, too. It'd be fun to start a "Firefly Forum" or something like that--not that I have time for anything like that, but it's still a fun idea.
Havea good day at work! I'll talk to you later.
PS We need to kidnap Eric, tape his eyes open, and make him sit through all 15 hours of Firefly. (Okay, that's drastic, but something MUST be done.)
Wacky fun!

Good idea. I think it'll work too. He'll only fight for the first 30 seconds and then after that maybe he'll realize he's been missing out on an awesome show. Hey you have a good day at work too.
You know what the chain of command is?

Thanks, I will. We need to plan this ambush. Emial me and we'll set it all up. Hehehe, I can see it now.
*Phone rings*
Eric: Hello?
Me: Hey, Eric, what are you doing this afternoon...Oh, nothing, right, well, wanna come over? *evil, demonic laugh echoes through my brain*
Wacky fun!

Hey Mattie! I'm not a SLC Browncoat, but I am an LDS one. You wrote me an email a couple weeks ago, and I am ashamed to admit that I have no idea how to send a reply email through this forum. Since its routed through the website, I can't just hit "reply" can I? Anyway, it was fun hearing from you. Sorry I'm such a computer illiterate. Not one of my many exciting talents, I guess
Anyway, I'm surprised there aren't more LDS Browncoats on here. Wasn't Utah one of the states that kept the movie the longest? (in either SLC or Provo area, I can't remember) Obviously not everyone in Utah is Mormon, but still...It's alright, though. I'm converting my ward here in Colorado Springs, one by one. Keep up the good fight, both of you.
-Megan

I think you're thinking Colorado City, mate.
And I'm feeling way older myself, every year. Every since I've had my son, my ability to retain anything in memory that isn't Dr. Suess-related has severely gone downhill.
