Nah, don't apologize mate. We're all family here and all and I see your point now as I read more about your thoughts on it. It is true that the boards can become cluttered, and I think it's happening a little more often than before because of the surplus of recruits that have come aboard. It's become a side effect of the show's popularity. Plenty of newbies don't know much about the other threads (and I myself am guilty of that as I've only been here for almost two months) and "General Discussions" on any forum board tend to have the rule that "anything goes" on that forum. In all honesty though I guess I don't mind it so much because to me it's a sign that we are gaining some kind of momentum and it doesn't bother me to sort through the clutter myself.

I guess another thing too is that this is something that does tend to happen to every forum board you'll come across. I've been a member of quite a few myself, and it always happens. Thing is, well, this place has been more of a home to me than any of the others have ever been. I LOVE it here because I love the people in it. I have disagreed with folk from time to time, but we all always end up working it out in the end. So I guess because of that I tend to ignore the clutter that is inevitably going to happen.

I apologize to you if I had offended you in my previous thread BC1. From the looks of it, it doesn't seem like I did, but I just want to make sure I didn't anger you in any way. Like I said, I really enjoy all the folk in here and I don't want to put anyone off.

I agree with every point you make. When I first joined this board (two years ago), I misunderstood General Discussions. I think it's because Haken made a poor choice of short title. I humbly suggest that it be renamed; 'FIREFLY in GENERAL' might work better, say with subtitle 'About the series as a whole. Formerly General Discussions'. It couldn't help but relieve some of the problem.
