Yeah, don't ya know it. *sigh* My wife was sick for most of last weekend, now it's my turn. Damned germs.

I'd make you a nice cup o' chicken soup, but I'm outta time. (and I think that by the time it go to you it'd be gross.)
Wacky fun!

Thanks, guys. I'm glugging down orange juice, as much as I can hold, in the hopes it helps. We want to look at some houses tomorrow and I don't intend to miss that by being too sick.

Sickness. Sickness is bad. Richard Basehart is good.

You guys are looking at getting a new house? Didn't you just buy a new car?

Yes, and yes. We talked to a mortgage person at our bank, while we were already there for the car loan, so we're pre-approved for that, too. We're currently renting, have been since we've been together, saving up. It'll probably be ages before we find something we'd want to buy, but there's no harm in looking. We really can't move until my son finishes high school in June, since we plan to live outside the city and probably outside the school district too.

Looking at houses is fun! I hope you get feeling better so that you can go!
Getting back to, well, what was the topic of this thread? Oh, Public Transportation. Not much to say about that, is there? We should publicly transport ourselves to a different topic. Something like, oh, I don't know, fireplaces on a wintery day, or morning talk shows.
Wacky fun!

I usually like public transportation. We don't really have it here in Tulsa, but I've sampled metros, buses, and taxis from Paris to LA and everywhere in between. it's not so bad.
I'd like to second the motion to talk about fireplaces on wintery days.
Good thing.
Very good thing.
Can be quite romantic, relaxing, or warm. Or all three, leading to, um, stuff.
