I couldn't wait for the sequel, so I made my own damn sequel. I bet Joss and the gang are itchin' to tell the rest of their story, so hopefully their drive will pull it off. It's gonna take some serious selling. Joss, call me.

Gossi isn't on board on this one as far as I am aware. And this guy hasn't got the approval of Joss Whedon so why is he still going ahead? And I doubt the Firefly rights would be given to a man whose main claim is running a Costa Rican dating agency. Any if it was so easy, why didn't the people who ran Firefly try and do it?
This is giving false hope to a lot of fans and so many people are going to be crushed when it doesn't happen. Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Stay well away from this project. It'll end in tears.

Hi, Gossi here.
I do *NOT* back this project. I’m not going into the reasons why in a public forum, and I wish the guy all the luck in the world, but I’d like to stress neither me, Universal, the FF producers or cast have anything to do with this project.

I'm with the vast majority here who does not trust this. The whole thing seems a long shot at best. And even if they were able to pull it off, with the smaller budget, you'd have to figure that along with it would come different sets, cast, effects, and such. And not to mention the plot changes that would be a result of it all. Perfect examples of this are those straight to DVD sequels that are often made yet no one ever hears about because they're so far from the originals.

Wether ita long shot or not is irrelivant. I'm filling in a form anyway. I'm not gonna bet my life on wether it works or not cause tht don't matter at this point. As has previously been said, the worst tht can happen is that I get spammed (big deal that's hot mails problem not mine). but the best tht can happen is that we get a fully intact second season. If i can spend just a ew minhuets of my time filling in a form and the end result mayby, just mayby is seeing Serenity fly again I'm with it (but Don't expect any donations without more authentic references!
)

Agreed. I'm not touching this.
Also, everything Haken said was right on point (I just didn't feel like taking up all the space necessary to quote him. lol). Fox and Universal both already know the viability of the Firefly/Serenity franchise. If it does return to TV, I agree with others that our best hope is the new CW network or Sci-Fi.

If joss doesn't support it, then neither should we. He is firefly, in all of it's forms and we should respect his vision of the series. Not the ideas of independent producers.
