I just got my new Jayne Cobb stocking cap today in the mail. I ordered it from www.wearwithstyle.com. Heather did a excellent job and the hat is perfect. I have been wearing it for the last hour.

My youngest daughter says, "You aren't going to wear that in public, are you? I said "Damn straight I am. My wife then says, "He's not afraid of anything" Ha. So shiny.

I purchased mine on Dec 3 and received it today so 1 1/2 months. I was 36 on the list when I ordered. Not bad. Heather is doing nearly 1 hat a day.

I purchased mine from a nice college student who did an excellent job. You can see the results here:

The Jayne hats are fairly easy to make, I made my first one sans-pattern in about 16 hours. (yes that is 16 straight with a #8 circular needle and the FireFly dvd playing on my computer)

Thinking about making anotherone though, #8 needles just make too small a stitch to look right for that hat, but I'll have to go somewere with a hobby lobby to get a 14 inch #10 circular needle and do it right.

NOTE: for all u none knitters it takes less time to knit with bigger needles (usually) so bassicaly it is easy to make 1 hat a day.
And Im not very good at knitting

I am sure your sister did not include a box with straw and a letter from Jayne's mother.
