no i'm something of a purist, I don't like fruits with chocolate, I can eat them , but only separatly. The one exception is fresh strawberrys dipped in melted chocolate, but the choclate either has to be really sweet or really bitter, no middle ground.

So ideal sundae? lime lemon and mango sorbets with a litte drizzle of syrup on top and tiny weeny sprinkles of candied fruit.

yummy.

and then when i'm feeling bad

Choclate fudge brownie, layered up with chocolate chip and toffe icecream (you guys haven't lived till you've tasted the ice cream you can get from this farm in cheshire where we sometimes go, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... one day when I have a car you're all going to have to visit)
all topped off with a generous squirt of warm choc fudge sauce.

yum.

I'm hungry now, but I don't want icecream, bizarrely, I want chilli...

Hmm, dream chocolate sundae.

Either a brownie or a blondie (I love them both) NO NUTS! Chocolate ice cream, coffee ice cream, triple brownie fudge overload ice cream. butterscotch, hot fudge sauce, strawberries, bananas, m&ms, chocolate chips, whipped cream and topped with chococolate chip cookie crumbs.

Just the thought of such a concoction makes me feel delighfully ill.

And cookie crumbs are great on ice cream. I like to save all the little broken bits and pieces leftover at the bottom of the bag (pretty much everything in our house is stored in ziploc bags. Sad, but true) and I keep it in the freezer for when I have ice cream next. I also do that with the crumbs at the bottom of my bags of pita chips and throw them on top of my soup. Weird, but taaasty.

Have you never had a chocolate fondue??

I'm a purist myself in that I do NOT like nuts of any sort cooked in things.... brownies with walnuts ew, butter tarts with pecans ew.

Nuts belong salted or shelled in a bowl.

That said, fresh pineapple, banana, strawberries dipped in a chocolate fondue... heavenly...

and sprinkles...

Oh, I adore fondue. Cheese fondue for a meal, chocolate fondue for dessert.

There'a a great restaurant called The Melting Pot and I was taken there on my 21st birthday. It's all fondue. It was fantastic.

When it comes to chocolate I generally like it pure and simple...just chocolate. I can't stand chocolate covered fruit. For the most part, the only thing I like mixed with chocolate is peanut butter with a few exceptions like butterfingers and jogurt rittersport bars ;D

I was gonna say: And don't forget Ritter yogurt!

Sad news: The british shop has shut down for a bit while it relocates to another location. I was gonna try to pick you up some Ritter when I send you LOST (I'm on the last DVD) but I can't now because they're closed!

They're just lucky I've got a good stash of Cadburys or I'd be FREAKING OUT right now. I'm out of crumpets as it is.

I used to go to the Melting Pot when a friend (the one who went to California) would visit for Christmas. She hasn't visited us for the last couple of years though. Fun place, but easy to overdo.

Ah, you're too nice to lil ol' Kermie ;D Last disc of Lost? yay, I'm excited to check it out. Let me know when you want me to send you BSG...do you want both Season 1 (w/ miniseries) and Season 2.0 (first half of season 2) at the same time...I don't see why not, but I figured I should ask ;D
