Wasn't expecting all the bisexuals out there to get involved when I posted this, but fair play to those women who drink from the furry cup. All those men who posted about the guy order - I think you want Brokeback Mountain, not Firefly. Plus there's so man y man haters out there. Where's the love? We're not all cheating one dimensional bastards.

What are you talking about? Homosexuality (in *both* genders) seems to be totally accepted in the FF 'verse (c.f. Mal expressing no discomfort at all when Nandi asks if he's 'sly')

Kaylee, Inara, River, Zoe. Can't say I like the thought of my woman being able to kill me with her pinky. Besides I like the sweet, cute girls. Not the tough as nails types.

Even in the real world I think my list would be the same. However, since Jewel is taken, I'd take Morena's number any day. Besides she seems to be a real sweetheart in real life.

If my life was atually about making choices like this, I would be the happiest man on the earth. I find all the vixens of Firefly incredible in their own unique way. I can understand kaylee's appeal, but frankly I am surprised by her being the overwhelming favorite. My preference would be as follows, but I would gladly take any of them out for dinner and a show:

1) Inara. If you appreciate female beauty at all, you can't help but be awed by her exotic and stunning looks. Also, I love women who are both very intelligent and independent. She is both. She is well educated, well read, and well versed in the carnal arts. The other and more important thing is that she trulty seems to be able to give and receive love, not just have sex. I am in love with Inara Serra, and anyone who calls her a whore will have to fight me with a long bladed weapon.

2) Kaylee. She's pretty, lusty as hell, and likes to get dirty. She is always pleasing to be around, and would never bring you down. Making her happy would be a great life's work, and I don't think that would be too difficult. A nice party now and then, plenty of engines, and constant sex would probably do it. I can DO that! On the down side, I wouldn't have much to talk to her about in the long term. She is uncultured and kind of a poor, trashy girl. Still, I love her.

3) River. Her grace and unique beauty are very moving. Her dancer's body is very slim and beautiful, and she moves like a cat. MEOW! Also, she needs somebody to look after her and help her! How could I resist! Also, she's totally brilliant, and quite the little nutcase. Oh well, as they say "crazy in the head"...you know the rest. If she would feed me berries once it a while to keep up my strength, I'd be happy. Also, should you encounter a group of 15 armed men trying to attack you, she'll kick all their asses. Very nice in a pinch.

4) Zoe. She doesn't deserve to be my fourth pick. She is an amazing woman, and it would be my honor to be hers (assuming Wash was not in the picture). I have the feeling that when a man unleashes her passion, he better hold on for dear life. She is strong in mind and body, and loyal as the day is long. 'Course, she don't like small talk much, she won't cook or clean and will beat you senseless if you piss her off. Best be careful. Damn that Lawrence Fishbourne!

In closing, I want them all. Sexually. A lot. Call me a perv, if you must.

I posted the guys in the other thread, so for the girls -

Inara - sensual, comforting, fun. Could just relax with Inara.

Kaylee - FUN FUN FUN! She could have a good time in broken down spaceship in the middle of nowhere!

River - Only if she was the initiator. I'd worry about doing the wrong thing and ending up out an airlock.

Zoe - I like strong confident women. They also terrify me beyond belief. I'm fragile. Zoe would break me, probably by accident!

1) Inara: I'm hugely attracted to grace and elegance. That alone puts Inara leagues above the rest. Sure, she's a professional, but that just means she's practiced at it.

5) River: Same deal... she'd kill me in my sleep if she thought I looked better in red. And I like my Blue Sun t-shirt just the way it is.

Oh, by the way, for the guys it might go: Simon, Mal, Book, Wash--if you're at all curious. Jayne ain't on that list for a reason. KF
