... can it really be that I am the first of our german bunch to post in this thread? unbelievable! probably all my native fellows are too shocked of that long hot summer we have over here 'waving to culttvgirl and the others from england' and are camping outside for 3 weeks now ;-) i never thought i would say so, but i am longing for rain.
oh, and: I am from Köln and now live in Münster, both NRW.

I'm in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Originally, I'm from Manitoba, where the mosquitoes get big enough to carry away small children. Summers are much nicer in Calgary.
So where are all the other Canucks? Do I have to start a CFL taunting thread to get y'all to come out of the woodwork? (Go Bombers!)

Downtown Toronto is my home and it's a 20-min walk to work under a canopy of trees amid lake breezes. (And, you know what? I don't give a gorram about sports anymore so, take your best shot at the Argos ;-)
(Side note: I've never been to the prairies. Must visit Calgary -- heard good things about the oil/cow town. chrs!)

Actually, I'm not much of a sports person either. This is more of a taunt at my nephew, who swears that football is God's gift to Canada. But the Argos - the Argos, man!
Calgary is cool - especially because there is going to be a Firefly Party and Firefly discussion at the ConVersion, which is the big scifi convention in town (this weekend, or I would be there).
But, as I'm not a rapid Westerner, I have to say Toronto is pretty cool too. Been there a couple of times; my sister even lived there for a while.
