You can order a copy and use DVDshrink to remove the region code. DVDshrink.org is the place to go get it.

See, personally i bought the widescreen US release.
THen i plan to buy the Special edition, when/if they ever release that.

Cool going to buy it soon!! U can use DVD43 program and watch it on your computer. It will take off the region4. What I'll do is make a backup and watch copy (region free) on home TV. I like to keep my originals untouched as much as I can.

methinks an american special edition may be coming. all universal would have to do is region 1 that sucker and whamo they have all of us buying the movie again. plus if that sold really well...well you know.

yeah i cant wait for the US special Edition, because then ill have Serenity (Widescreen), Serenity Austrailian 2 disk Tin, and then the US SE. ill see if i can get my friends in Astralia to hold me a copy
