Hi there Mr B. It's nice to see you here, but I have a question to ask and I think everyone here would probably ask it at some point or another - Why did ME move in with Fox? Was it just a decision based upon JW having like, 3 development projects still there so it looked safe, or is ME becoming one of those studio-locked independant producers. If it's the former, then - why go back to that old feeding hand that proceeded to bite you hard, and if it's the latter - then... well. I suppose as long as you can get the stuff ME wants to get made is made, then woo.

Either way. We love firefly. We'd like to kiss in a manly fashion all who were responsible for it. It is the greatest crime of the world that we don't have it anymore.

The Fox network. They brought us Two Guys and a Girl, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Family Guy, Futurama, Brimstone, British Sky Broadcasting, only to snatch them all away.
They left us with 24.

Well I guess the egg foo young is on my face as for the zip code ! 90213, it is. Sorry.

As for why we moved on to the Fox lot, it's actually very simple. We have an overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television Productions and they give us office space as part of the deal.

Our former digs were at the same location as where we shot Buffy and since we've completed that show (and a non-Mutant Enemy show is now shooting there)it made perfect sense to move to the lot.

We are happily ensconced in the former offices of Chris Carter & the X-Files (e.g. very nice), and look forward to producing more good stuff in the near future.

Welcome, Sir!

I'm sure by now you've seen much proof on this site of how much this show means to us!

We ferverently hope that you guys can find a way to get us our Firefly fix (be it movies or TV)!!!! The DVDs will be great, but we really need our show...

In any event, thank you for being part of one of the best shows ever developed and shown (albeit briefly)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No probs. If you hadn't committed egg foo young, we might not have had this opportunity for a dialogue :-)

Would it be appropriate to ask for a comment on the potential Firefly film that JW is writing, namely real-world status? IOW, along the timeline for putting a movie on the silver screen, where would this project be?

Yes, the shoes now reside (happily, I might add)in our "trophy case" along side Xander's eye, Fray's scythe and all the other stuff we couldn't bear to part with after Buffy left the air!

While it is certainly not inappropriate to ask me to comment on the possibility of a Firefly movie, it would be inappropriate for me to comment at this time. Sorry.

As for the DVDs, I hope you will be very happy. We made every effort to deliver what the fans want/demand and I think we succeeded. Tons of commentaries, extra footage and several goodies that any hardcore fan will appreciate.

My son Sam has two favorite shows~ Firefly and The Tick! Comic genius! Anyway, he has said many times that he'd like to write Mr. Edlund and I would love to surprise him with needed info.

I got to do this just because you are a man I respect. Your company has a good group of visionaries, not to mention quite a gifted man in Joss. Yeah, I love Firefly. I gladly show the episodes to all my friends. I have to keep 3x5 cards with each person's name because I can't remember who's seen what. Needless to say it was a great show. In my opinion the greatest I'd ever watched. Already got my request in for the DVD's. I puliing for you guys for the Movie. That would be shiny. Yes, I use that phrase in everyday speech. I hope all our frivilious & ferverent posting on this site is a testimony of our love for the show. Out of curiousity, is your precious mug anywhere in the gag reels? Well enough said for now. All in all we just say thank you. It's very encouraging to see how the little guy (if there are enough of them) can make a difference. So .....Keep Flying.
