I use Dong ma?, and Your mouth is talking.., with my daughter quite a bit. oh Gosa comes in handy at work & home...and wuo de ma seems to pop in my head at the appropriate moments. I find funny is now I automatically think frell (from Farscape) instead of *uck...

I do find myself saying, rather bizarrely, "Kwong-chee duh" a lot ... and then when a colleague looks at me funny I say “it’s just nuts” all Wash like (‘cept me bein’ a girl and all) …

I also quite scarily tend to pepper my thoughts, if not my speech, with go-se, pigu, shwai and guay not to mention tah mah duh!

It all got out of hand once I started writing fanfic and was thinking about dialogue a whole gorram lot – now its all quite fong luh …

I got into Firefly via my boyfriend's buddy Dante and I've noticed now that when I've over there, Dante will randomly say a Firefly phrase. I'm very entertained every time it happens.

I've also been noticing a few Firefly phrases creeping into my own speech. Nothing too specific, but an appropriate quote here and there... :)

You know a show has great writing when you constantly want to quote it.

I've started to use Gorram and Shiny both on Forums and in RL

I also sometimes use Frack and Felgercarb from Battlestar Galactica :D

"Shiny" is definitely one I enjoy. I'm trying to teach my boyfriend the right meaning for it, but he hasn't seen all of Firefly yet. There are a few others that I sorta pick up on, but Shiny is the biggie.

Man do i use frack alot hehe.

Not intentionally. It just...pops out.

Of course, shiny is there too :)

Well, I use shiny, but I was using that before I watched firefly (When I first heard them say it on the show, I was completely dumbfounded). Every so often I yell go se when I get frustrated as well.

Wash: Yeah, but psychic? That sounds like science fiction.
