I made a Serenity vid

I was listening to my music and then it just hit me that Zeromancer's "Send me an angel" could be perfect for making a Serenity vid. I made it last night after figuring out how to make it possible for my windows movie maker to stretch out to widescreen.

Like it! The vid is a little bleached out looking but then I assume that was a deliberate treatment? I was taken with the idea and tried out a number of different songs/genres - nothing country really seemed to work as it did in the series, as the film has a much bleaker tech feel. The best I could come up with was Coldplay's 'Square One' from their X&Y album which I thought worked - see what you think.

Do you think you can elaborate what you mean with bleached? If this is about the color quality of the vid then it's beyond my control, sadly windows movie maker has poor effects to use. I've tried getting Adobe premiere to work, but it kinda goes ballistic every time I try and put in a clip... I think it hates me lol

If it's anything else then maybe I can learn from it

This came out really well. You did a great job!

And this cover of "Send Me an Angel" fits great. It brought a whole different feeling to it. It's interesting to see what it would be like without the country-style music. Nice to see that it works either way.

Awesome video the song fit really well with the clips of the movie. Have you seen Cub's movies you both have some real talent. Thanks for sharing the video. Never heard of the band before, but the song was pretty kick ass.

Well now Miss Kitten being winked at by an attractive woman just makes my day!

Arrrgh go-se Windows Movie maker (resists urge to cuss in public) truly dreadful. Don't get on with Premiere myself - have you tried Vegas? Much nicer IMHO.

Download a demo and give it a whirl or if you aim to misbehave you can liberate a copy from emule to 'cough' try before you buy.
