Cool, I got the picture of the magazine to show up!
Does this magazine sell in the USA? Can I get this magazine at Barnes and Noble and Books-A-Million in the USA?
I checked Books-A-Million and Barnes and Noble stores in the USA and they did not have DVD Review in their computers. It looks like a UK magazine that is not sold in the US.
Go UK Browncoats!
Darn, there goes my plan to leave these magazines at doctors and dentists offices.
www.bamm.com has the following Future magazines available for current issue purchase .
Future Music (non-disc)
Future Skateboarding Buyer's Guide 2005
Future Snowboarding
That is it...they are getting an email from me suggesting they make the
March 2006 issue of DVD Review Magazine Serenity - Summer (DVD version) available at bamm.com (Books-A-Million's website)

Yup.
B&N carries it right there with the other movie type mags like Cinescape and Starlog, but usually closer to the back of the rack. (lol)

Thank you. I'll have to stop by and see if they can preorder me a copy of the March edition.
Hmmm. Some Doctor or Dentist office might just need a copy of this magazine. Hospitals. Lunch room tables etc...

Here's a bit of "guerrila marketing".
If you drop by a Barnes and Noble magazine...casually switch the magazine to the front of the display...
(As long as it's in with the same type of magazines (i.e. dvd reviews or similar), it may go unnoticed by the staff of the store...tee..hee!)

Ha ha. I used that same technique with the Firefly soundtrack at a local Walmart. Moved them in front of other CDs. Seems to have worked. They were gone the next time I checked.

I notice that the article describes Serenity as a "cult Sci-Fi movie".
Funny, I don't remember joining a cult...

I don't disagree on any particular point.

You can read that on several places at the moment. I can live with it though because the word "cult" always drags.

When a movie is referred to as a "cult movie", it simply means that it's a movie followed by a group of intensely devoted fans. It's a positive reference and it's not meant to categorize anyone in a negative fashion, it's just a way of describing the movie itself as having a dedicated fanbase despite the movie not being terribly successful.
