i feel serenity (boat) can be made, would be hard and require a shatload of money and work but i think it is possible to build in reality, without the whole space travel it could be a nice cargo vessel through this planet that might spark companies to build or design better and bigger vessels. i would like to hear everyones opinions or ideas on the subject

You mean life-size? Like a theme park? Where you pay a fortune to sign up to join the crew for a few days, and see CGI stuff out the windows and stuff, and get borded by Alliance troops, and chased by Reavers, and have a fancy-faced doctor and his crazy sister running about, and some big guy with a whole mess of firepower behind his curtain, and some such shininess?
Cool.
Put it in the northeast, so I could go.
Nah. I could never afford it.

I like what Cartoon said, great use.
Trip, you mean an ocean-going cargo vessel? Or something on wheels that looks like Serenity?
I think either one could work, but maybe wouldn't get used for cargo. More a plaything for a rich Browncoat or Browncoats.
I like your style, the way your mind works. Hope you get good comments.

Build the model and then check in with the aeronautics engineers we have around the fandom (I know of at least two) and see if it's really a possibility.
I'm not above dreaming, you know!
But there's alot of problems with design, fueling, etc, just that I can see off the top of my head.
Now the idea of a theme park Serenity I LOVE! Hmmm... Universal Studios hasn't called, have they?

yes there aare alot of problems with the design but i hope to fix them with help from others and with ideas to help fix them from poeple in this forum. one is that the side pod engines will have to rotate to power the ship which makes another problem with the stress that will be put on the moving area of the engine ( might snap right off ) any ideas on how to fix that little problem

EDIT: The Serenity consists of a shipping container, such as those off the back of a truck-and-trailer, and a means to fly that shipping container, essentially. More specifically:
The Serenity consists of a main shipping container (the cargo hold), a row of bunks above it, two VTOL (vertical take-off and lift) directional thrust engines capable of planetary escape velocity, a control deck (cockpit), and what would realistically be an evolved form of the VASIMR reactor for in-space maneuvers. Though the VASIMR system is however questionable, as in the television show the main reactor is shown capable of generating tremendous thrust in an atmosphere looking much like a detonating Blu-82B as it shoves off, and it would seem that the main reactor too, is capable of escape velocity where current plasma drive reactors are not and the possibility thereof is currently dismissed.
Now, the known unknowns so far are:
a. How the Serenity handles fuel – do both engine systems use the same grade/type of fuel? Where is it stored?
b. Will it ever be possible, within our meager lifetimes, to at least see prototypes of artificial gravity generators?
c. It is rather presumptuous on the part of many Browncoats to assume the Serenity is capable of ‘warp’ speeds. The main reactor indeed makes the Serenity fast, but is it multiples of ‘c’ fast? If you were to assume still that a rocket-principle propulsion system is capable of accelerating to near-or-multiple-c speeds, what is your viewpoint on the result of firing the main thruster in an atmosphere to escape the Reavers?
d. Would they not in 500 or so years have figured out water-based fusion reactors? How would this factor in to fuel-efficient electric generators (using fuel to generate electricity, likely from the main core, would operate on a sort-of automobile-alternator principle)?
Piloting, re-entry, fuel-driven electric-powered energy and life-support, leg-like hydraulic-shock landing gear, and in-space waste management and recycling are all currently existing and working technologies, so building the vessel isn’t out of the question, just a couple of ways the ship does things and the overall ruggedness of the ship as compared to how delicate everything in the real world is still being built that may seem out of reach.
This should turn into an interesting thread.
