He he, I'd live there, but i'd probably have to insist on talking to peoples faces.

lil' ole' spoilsport that I am.

But we couldn't watch Serenity every night.

*gasp*

occaisionally we would have to make way for Raising Arizona. (saw it last night, bloody brilliant film, thank you all how reccomended)

And very occaisionally Muppets Treasure Island/ Pirates of the Carribean double bill.

We can be pirates at D*C, 'cept no one would notice. It'd be funny. People stop and ask about the costumes, "Pirates of the Caribbean?" , " No No, Firefly fans Nookers, "What? You're hookers?"
No we're from the nook on FFF.net. *confused look* "ok umm sure." *walks away quickly*

You guys (and girls) are so funny to read! I'm Mattie, the one sitting over by the door with that weird, questioning, interested look on my face. Naps in cubicles, to hidey clubs, clubbing one another with pies, to pirate dress-up, to getting up and goin' out as nookers. There's GOLD in this little (HA!) thread, it tell you what!
Do you all really hang out, or is that just part of the ninth floor story too?

We mostly do the virtual hangout here and the other thread, and often late night chat. LMD, CMS, and I(JadeHand, currently in pirate costume) did hang out IRL for New years.
Seryn and Citizen are acroos the pond so we haven't met IRL....yet. hopefully they sieze a chance to visit for Dragon*Con.
Feel free to jump in Mattie, we may crazy, but we won't bite.....well, unless, you know, you're into that sort of thing. Wanna go to Dragon*Con?

I liked it when Citzen called us Pirates of the Nookie!

Who's got the next birthday? Mine's not till November. Then we can have a piratey birthday party. It'll have to be virtual until I develop those portals (Darn NASA gettin' in the way!) But still, piratey birthday goodness!

And there will definitely have to be a pirate day at D*C. Seryn's making us the corsets and JadeHand's taking us out to dinner, so there will have to be a pirate day. We can make up little fake business cards to give to people.

"Want to be a Pirate of the Nook? Check out www.fireflyfans.net and [link to our latest thread]. And watch Serenity! Pirates in Space!"

Okay, we make better business cards than that. But I bet if Seryn and I stored them in our..um corsets and handed them out, then we'd get lots of people (men) to check out the website. A unique and interesting way to recruit more browncoats.
