already preordered my ornament last night, was consider getting the lego kit from chris but $65 is way to steep for me (at least for that when I know I could probably find the pieces/build it for alot cheaper).

yeah, but apparently the pieces are hard to get... I know I don't have all the pieces (I checked.)

It seems to be virtually impossible to order them directly at lego or anywhere else

I will be ordering a few of the ornaments. Need a couple for myself & some for gifts. The detail on the ornament is really pretty good. Six inches by three & half inches is a fairly good size too.

Actually, it isn't. www.minimodelmadness.com has had one for a bit now. I bought one in December and put it together. It's about three and a half inches long and painted up beautifully. I intended to put it on the Christmas tree but it's been in a place of honor on the top of the television stand since.
