Had a rather shiny evening at my brother-in-law's new house yesterday. He had almost all the Firefly episodes saved in his DVR, and with some family over for a house-warming I talked them into watching episodes for the evening entertainment. We went through four of them while I was there, and people were gearing up to watch some more as my wife & I were leaving. More converts!

I have just jumped ship from Serenity cons... I signed up for Not Fade Away, the last ever Angel one that Starfury is running. Is anyone else going to this?
(I might still go to Serenity 4 though, since it's in Scotland)

Being engaged is fun. I have a ring I designed and got made by a close friend (who is also the fiance's cousin). Very shiny.
Not sure about which con - I think I can only do one next year and can't decide between NFA and S3. trauma

Weather is tres odd here. It keeps alternating between low 50s (Farenheit) and then near zero. What's up with that?
