You cannot miss him.. he is the FIRST Private Ryan they meet (wrong one) who thinks his little brothers have been killed.. he goes from average GI Joe to complete meltdown with the (wrong) news.. short screen time.. but well used.. and he has already worked with Spielberg... impressive!

he also was in a show called two guys, a girl, and a pizza place...which later just became known as two guys and a girl...this is the first place I know him from as I was not a huge buffy or angel fan (I promise my fanaticism for these BIG DAMN HEROES makes up for it)...
this show also starred ryan reynolds in his pre van wilder/blade 3 etc. days..
EDIT: this was a sitcom, can still be seen on lifetime/usa at times i believe...i thought he was good as Johnny, Sharon's boyfriend, and he played a blue collar guy with a dry, witty sense of humor...a role I thought he did very well...so when I got hooked on the 'Verse seeing him be the humorous sort fit perfectly

Same here...it took me a few episodes to make sure I could trust him to be a good guy, seeing as he can be a bit scary:) but once I did I knew I'd found my hero. I'd follow him to the ends of the earth.....and the fact that I'm saying that in earnest about a fictional character says a lot.
Nathan makes makes you feel so much for Mal that he not only begins to seem real, he becomes someone you love and care about and can feel incredible loyalty towards.
Not to mention he's the reason I discovered Firefly in the first place; I saw a preview in the theater for Serenity, and I instantly knew I had to look up everything that Nathan had ever been in! Love at first sight there:)
I am a HUGE fan of both Nathan and Mal:)

Thanks Chindi. Did not notice that it was Nathan and when I get a chance will look more closely. I have a tendency not to notice these things. That is why I depend on my fellow Browncoats to tell me. Thanks again!!!
Have a better one!!!

I had no idea Jewel was on Wonderfalls. I loved that show when it was on, ahem, Fox. The whole series is in my Netflix queue right now. I think I am gonna bump it up.
