birkenhead ! ... ah, such fond memories.

i spent a summer working at camel laird shipbuilders a while ago (are they still there?).
fitting sonar to the last of the upholder class subs.

i 'lived' in a guesthouse in new brighton.

i'm now in lincolnshire. one godforsaken corner to the next.

yeah its still there, its got half a luxury cruisliner parked in it at the moment, but every month brings a new report of closures, so...
