When you've got a crush on someone you don't know, I'm told it's because they "represent" something for you.

I wonder what it is that we can totally get obsessed over characters that we know are fictional.

InuYahsa is totally hot. I can't resist a guy who needs to be saved from himself by the love of a good woman. Like, say, Mr. Darcy.

My crushes are usually on the geeks (Daniel Jackson, Simon Tam) or on the cast member with the Scottish accent. My preference is the Aberdeen brogue, but I'm not terribly picky.

(I'll be in my bunk.)

Soooo....

the million dollar question is... what does Arnold Rimmer represent for me?

Apart from a neurotic dead guy with a gingham fetish?

Don't be embarrased about David Hewlett. Coz if you get embarrased then I'll have to get embarrased. He's definately on my list.

Ok so RDA um that would be a yes, damn but I loved Macgyver, loved him even more in SG1. Like Michael Shanks but gimme James Spader any day. And Sean Bean when he was in Sharpe. Also Viggo Mortensen and Gabriel Byrne. Is there a pattern here? David Hewlett, not so much but Paul McGillion is on my list. But then I'm biased - I'm a Scot.

"This movie may be a beautiful butterfly, but I loved that damn caterpillar." Joss Whedon.

Almost forgot about Richard Dean Anderson. He's an even hotter hotie now with his gray hair.

Back in the '80's when everyone watched General Hospital and had crushes on Rick Springfield, John Stamos, the character Luke etc. I was a confirmed Richard Dean Anderson drooler.

Ever since I watched Sharps soldiers I have had the biggest crush on Sean Bean. He was hot as Boromir too, though I think he would have made a better strider, and he was sooo awsomely handsome as the bad guy in national treasure. I don't know if I like his accent or what, but I like him. Oh yeah, and the guy who played Harper on Sharp, he's hot too, though not in the same way. :P

I also like Clint Eastwood and John Wayne, which is sad because both those men are older then my grandad. They will forever be around 30 on tv though. Thats still kinda sad cause I'm only 17, but its at least closer.

Then lets see...... I alos like Bruce Willace. I had a sad dream about him last night. I was at the theator and met him, and he didn't like me...... Which is for me a very sad dream....... and a little disapointing.

Then I also like the guy who played strider in Lort. And the Hobbit who plays on Lost. And oddly enouph the guy who plays Hurrley on lost. He's just so cute, with his hair and everything. :P Which is kinda odd, cause I usaully, as you can probebly tell, go for action guys. Oh well, its not like I'm ever going to marry any of them. :P *sigh*

*Has daydream about Sean Bean.*

Oh yeah, then theres also Crokidile Dundee. Hes hot too.......

If you play Nationstates.net check out the region Firefly.

Other than that, umm...erm...i think Emma Watson. Is that wrong if i'm only a year and a half older(17)?

Yeah, I kinda crush on both of them, but it's worse for me to have any sort of crush on Emma...I'm 23 ;o

See, I got no problem with the crushes on fictional characters, like Legolas. Or with the actors who play them.

Its the wierd stuff. Yeah. I think Chris Barrie is a little wierd. Especially as Rimmer!
Cartoon characters- well, no, I get the Wonder Woman thing, and even the Velma thing.

But then, our subconscious must have a reason. There's something that appeals to some aspect of our brains that makes me watch X-Men cartoons, I'm sure of it.

Fabulous, oh I feel so good. No I can see the attraction, despite the irritating manner and food obsession, theres a glimmer of something there to love. But I have to say, he's sadly over shadowed by Joe Flannigan and his 'big-balls swagger'

Richard Dean Anderson? drool, even after I saw him with The Mullet. Something of a real life hero as well, he aparently regularly throws himself down mountainsides for charity, seal saving and such.

Yeah, I know. It's kinda sad. I mean, Joe Flanigan's obviously hot, but come on, how come the geeks never get the attention?

RDA: LOVE him! But not so sure about the mullet. He can barely get away with it and when Richard Dean Anderson can't carry off something, you know you've got a major style problem on your hands.

Oh, and thanks Druidess. Now, I won't be so you don't have to be.

And whoever said Mr. Darcy. Mmmm.... hehehe.
